Castro : The Late Ghanian Singer

Castro was a great and multitalented singer with the golden heart. He was born in 1982 in the Western Region of Ghana that is Takoradi. His full name is Theophilus Tagoe. Her mother’s name is Lydia Tagoe who was a trader and father’s name is Mr. Coffie who was the accountant at Takoradi Harbour.  He completed his schooling from Anglican primary and J.S.S in Takoradi itself.

He started his singing career at the age of 10. He had featured on hip-hop, on the beat maker, J-Q, Pop skinny etc.  Because of his continuous hits, he becomes one of the favorites for Ghanaians. He was definitely a great singer.

 His last hit song is ODO PA which was released in 2014 for which he was awarded by VGMAS Award. Castro had also worked with Buk Bak’s album which has made a great impact in the music arena. He always wanted to be retired as a producer, and he had the vision for the youngster that could help finding hidden talent in the youngster and gave them a spotlight & limelight platform.

 He also collaborated with mulch winnings hit songs. But one a sudden news broke 100 of millions of hearts, the sudden and untimely death of Castro. It says that he was drowned in Volta River at Ada Foah while saving her female friend. Bit his attempt was failed and he also drowned.

The unfortunate demise made everyone despaired and the body of his and his friend is still missing. But for their fans and lovers he is not dead he is still alive in their hearts and memories. People say that he is the marine spirit for them. Hit songs by him is always listened and mesmerized by his fans always.

Castro is best known for his feature on Adonai where he is featured on with Sarkodie’s song. Castro has also worked with Bisa Kdei, and Akoo Nana.
