Singer, Song writer and entertainer ,Psquare are a Nigerian R&B duo made out of identical twin siblings Peter and Paul Okoye who were born 18 November 1981 Jos, Nigeria. They have been active in music industry since 2003. They release their collections through Square Records.
The journey of P-Square taking place in St. Mulumba Secondary School, a little Catholic school in Jos, Nigeria. They joined their school music and show club where they started singing, moving, and impersonating tunes by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.
They later shaped a cappella quartet called “MMMPP” which later was changed to “MMPP”. Their ability and exact move routine soon made them commonly recognized names in the city of Jos.
P-square remains the best R&B couple bunch in Nigerian and in 2011; they were marked unto the Konvict muzik name owned by American artist Akon.
Doubtlessly, P-square is the best African R&B Duo, and this is obvious with the gigantic achievement of their various shows in the landmass. Throughout the years, they had a huge impact and fan following in Africa, doing sold out shows. Also, till date, the popularity is growing.
P-square won the “Grab Da Mic” competition. Their debut album was released under Timbuk2 music titled ‘Last Nite’ which was released under. They released their bestselling album so far ‘Game Over’ in 2007.The R&B Duo won the Best African Act award at the KORA All African Music Awards in 2010.
A single track featuring a top America Artist T.I was released by P-square which they Titled EjeAjo on August 29, 2014.Official was also released 29 August 2014 on TV’s, Radio Stations. The R&B Duo released their 6th album named ‘Double Trouble’ on September 14 the same year. They were nominated “African Artiste of the Year” in 2013 and 2014.
